Under the supervision of Christy Jacob, LPC-S
I am deeply passionate about supporting clients in their journey toward healing and wholeness. Having faced many life challenges, I understand the transformative power of counseling and am inspired to help clients acquire the tools needed to overcome their life struggles, uncover their inner strengths, and enhance their overall well-being. I wish for every client who works with me to know that they don't have to navigate life alone, and there is hope for a better tomorrow.
I work with clients of all ages and diverse backgrounds and am passionate about providing culturally sensitive care that promotes growth and positive change. I also take an integrative approach to counseling, often utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and solution-focused techniques. Moreover, as a Christian, I believe in the healing power of God and am open to discussing faith with clients upon request.
I view counseling as a collaborative partnership, where I respect each client's dignity and provide a safe, supportive space to work together toward their goals. I genuinely care about each of my clients and consider it an honor to be a source of help as they navigate their path to healing.
I graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery with a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Master of Science degree in Psychology. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, watching movies, shopping, and traveling.
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort."
