Susan BorglumLPC, EMDR Certified

Susan Borglum Caring that other people hurt, struggle, and seek change in their lives is what drives Susan’s work as a therapist. Her goal is to empower others to bring about the change in their lives that they are seeking. She believes that this power truly does exist within each individual and wishes to help others unlock that potential. As a full-time career woman and mother of a teen, she knows how difficult it can be to find balance in family, work, and spirituality – as well as the importance of support and a sense of humor!

Susan Borglum has over 12 years’ experience as a counselor working with clients dealing with a variety of life struggles. While she has spent a majority of her career working with adults, for the last three years Susan has worked primarily with children. She is dedicated to engaging with clients and empowering them to find solutions and ways to healthfully cope with problems. Throughout the process, she believes in being an advocate for her clients.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling from the University of North Alabama. She is credentialed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and has completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method of couples counseling. She is also an approved LPC supervisor.
